Check and adjustment of mooring lines and fenders
Check battery charging and shore power status
Check bilges and run bilge pumps
Run generator and engine(s), including in and out of gear
Operate steering, trim tab, thruster, winches and windlass systems
Run heating and air conditioning systems
Check function of cooker and refrigeration systems
Check function of all interior and deck lighting systems
Check function of all electronic instrument and entertainment systems
Flush toilets and run freshwater systems to prevent them from smelling
Work seacocks to stop them seizing
Check condition of gelcoat, paint, varnish, deck and metal fittings
Check rigging, sails and canvas work
Open hatches to air the vessel
Wash down deck/hull and chamois windows, hatches and bright work
